On Sunday, April 23, 2023, The Karmarkar Times hosted its first World Book Event, which included activities about books as well as celebrating the Earth, to commemorate the two essential international holidays. The event's purpose was to raise awareness about World Book Day and World Earth Day, both of which I believe are significant occurrences that deserve immense recognition. I am grateful to all who attended, both in the United States and India, and participated in the event, which couldn't have been initiated without the support of its attendees! A part of the day was spent reconnecting with friends and family around the world. Throughout the occasion, members interacted through activities, contests, and other virtual events. Hopefully, I can continue to host such events on behalf of The Karmarkar Times, and am looking forward to the bright future ahead.
